Class of 2020

We investigated pop up toys and sliders in books before we thought of which moving part we were going to choose for our Christmas card design.

We had a visit from the Life Education Van today. We found out about our wonderful bodies, keeping healthy and safe. We discussed feelings and helped Harold with a problem. We even had a visit from Harold too

We enjoyed the last bit of snow out on the playground today. We recorded the temperature at 2’C! Good job we wore our gloves. 

They enjoyed looking at this old till. We looked at the different materials and compared to a modern till.

We have been looking at some old toys and the different materials used. This was a metal tractor and a wooden truck. Thank you to our wonderful parents for bringing in old toys and asking grandparents what they played with. 

The children enjoyed competing as a team against the other house teams to gain points. We remembered to apply the ‘Values of the School Games’ within the competition.

We thought of questions using our question hand to ask “ Harry the Happy Mouse”. We enjoyed being the different characters and listening to how they felt. 

Continuing to explore our senses, today we investigated our sense of smell. We predicted what we thought the smell was and then we revealed the actual. It was good fun predicting !
