The children had a great time catching and throwing and completing an obstacle course today. A big thank you to the students for taking the lesson and the medals went down a storm.

Practising our fundamental skills.

A big thank you to the Gardening Club particularly Mr Long, Mrs Nemeth and Mr Mellor for planting potatoes with the class. We are looking forward to watching the plants grow and then digging up the buried treasure later in the summer term.

Today we have been investigating different textures in our garden. We did rubbings and showed them to our friends to see if they could guess what the original object was.

Easter egg rolling fun in the April sun.

Congratulations to the prize winners. We have all worked super hard in Reception. Well done to the whole class.

We ran, we hopped, we jumped, we threw shuttlecocks, we caught balls! Most of all we had fun.

What a brilliant trip! We learned so much about the animals and the habitats that suit them best. 
 

This week we enjoyed collecting natural objects from the garden and then we described what we had found to our friends without them being able to see the object. 
 

Today the children were tasked with collecting objects from the garden and making pictures with them. 

We had a brilliant time learning about how to keep ourselves healthy this morning when the student doctors from Lancaster Uni visited. 

It was a very special end to the day today when the mummies and daddies came in to read with us. Thank you to so many of you for coming in. The children loved it.
