It was a very special end to the day today when the mummies and daddies came in to read with us. Thank you to so many of you for coming in. The children loved it.
The children who have received their purple bands had a treat last Friday. They met Rosie the reading dog, had an ice lolly or sweets and listened to a story about a reading dog.
Today we have been finding natural objects with different characteristics. Some were smooth, some bumpy, some long, some short.

We really enjoyed playing in the snow especially when our older friends came out to play with us too.
We learnt about celebrating Diwali and the story of Rama and Sita today.
We had an exciting morning running super fast with our Nursery friends and earning points for our school teams.
We had fun watching the Tooth Defenders and learning how important it is to brush our teeth. Then we practiced brushing our teeth making sure we remembered every part of our mouths.
We had lots of fun collecting different objects we found around the school grounds. We then sorted them in lots of different ways.
