Further to my message yesterday, I can confirm that following a meeting between Senior leaders, the Chair and Vice Chair of Governors, our school will be open to all children on Monday.

I am aware that across both Lancashire and nationally, there is currently a variety of provision. Each school has to conduct its own risk assessment and whether it has sufficient staff to open safely. Currently, we do have enough staff to maintain our bubbles, and will continue to follow stringent covid-safety procedures. However, this is a fast moving situation,  and as up to date data is received and revised risk assessments completed, it may well become apparent that the safest course of action is for our school to move to a key-worker and vulnerable child only provision. This is likely to happen in the coming days or weeks, with home learning for the rest of pupilsI just wanted to make you aware now just in case child-care arrangements need to be thought about.

Your child's safety and education continue to be priority to us at Scotforth St. Paul's. I am aware that this may not be what you wished to receive on a Sunday evening, and is very frustrating for us all. We are also undertaking a new survey on critical workers, as although we know who these were in the summer, inevitably jobs change. This survey will be coming out on Monday today - please could I ask that this is completed as soon as possible for all classes.

I will of course keep you all updated as ongoing plans may change.

Thank you for your understanding during this continuing challenging time.
