
Multi-Cultural Festival
The children were allowed to wear their own clothes for the Multi-cultural Festival and many children chose to come in traditional clothes. They looked fabulous.

Cricket Tournament 2025
A mixture of Y4s, 5s and 6s had a great day out today at the Lancaster cricket tournament at Westgate and Torrisholme Cricket Club. Although we didn’t win the tournament, we learnt a lot and had a fantastic team spirit. And the sun shone all day long!

NISCU Easter Worship
On Monday NISCU joined us to share a Worship about opposites at Easter. Some of the children were chosen to act out the story and they did a great job.

Rocksteady
The children who have been having Rocksteady lessons performed their songs in a lively concert today. It was great to see their confidence and their friends supporting them.

Largest Girls’ Football Day
We enjoyed taking part in the Largest Girls’ Football Day. We continue to have opportunity every Wednesday where Morecambe Football Club come and work with the girls to play football.

The Great Scotforth Bake-off
Wednesday was our bake off competition. What a lot of entries and judges! Thanks to all the parents who helped in any way.
We had so many cakes we managed two cake sales. Look out for the total raised towards our children’s kitchen.

Carol service 2024
Term came to a close this afternoon with the whole school going to church for our carol service. Year 6 lead the service, focussing on gifts - especially God’s gift of Jesus to the world at Christmas. They were also helped by a staff band and a signing choir.

This week Year 6 have visited Chirnside House and Ashton Manor care homes to entertain the residents with their carol singing. They also enjoyed chatting to the residents afterwards.

Rock Steady Concert
What a fantastic concert today. Our rock stars performed brilliantly and the audience of children and parents were awestruck by the confidence of the children who have been receiving Rock Steady lessons. Well done everyone!

Children’s Worship Conference
Today, Miss Huddleston took two members of our Worship Team to Clitheroe to the Blackburn Diocesan Children’s Worship Conference. The focus was “Giants of Faith”. We considered famous giants of faith, then thought about how we can be giants of faith ourselves, standing up for justice, praying…

Mindful Monday - Dog Walk

Mindful Planting
For Mindful Monday some children chose to do planting with Miss Walsh.
Some children chose to plant peas (vegetables) and some children chose to plant sweet peas (flowers)!
After this, we created some faces using natural resources we could find around us!
