Our class novel is called ‘Stormbreaker’ by Anthony Horowitz.  Today, we read a chapter where the main character is asked to become a spy. We discussed all the pros and cons that he would face making his decision. We then took part in a ‘conscience alley’. The children had to whisper reasons for and against becoming a spy to a child walking down the alley. At the end of the alley, they had to decide what their decision would be. Lots of great ideas were discussed.
