Today, Year 4 had an amazing trip to Heysham Power Station. We learnt all about renewable and non-renewable energy, understood how nuclear power stations generate electricity and even had a tour of Heysham 2 Power Station! The hard hats and PPE vests were very exciting, even if they were a bit big! A big thank you to Heysham Power Station Visitor Centre for giving us a brilliant day!
