Class of 2024

We used great skills to make the bread: sifting, stirring and kneading the dough. It was tasty!

We investigated lots of different types of bread after reading The Little Red Hen. We discussed where the ingredients came from.

Thank you to all our parents who came in and spoke about their jobs. The children loved hearing how you are all Real-life Superheroes!

We used our imaginations to come up with our own Traction Man adventure.

We enjoyed doing our different yoga poses for Well-being Wednesday. 

We had good fun taking part in our yoga session. We made some great poses with our favourite characters. 

We drew around our willing volunteer and labelled the part of the body. We even spoke about parts inside our body too e.g. heart, lungs etc. 

Continuing our topic of Brilliant Bodies and Brilliant Brains, we made our faces using natural materials that we found outside. We had great fun designing !

We had a visit from Steve and Harold today. They told us about healthy eating, friendships and keeping healthy.

We enjoyed singing songs and listening to stories.

We had so much fun yesterday visiting Martin Mere. We followed a map, we saw lots of birds and we had lots of fun in the splay/play park. 

Today in Reception we practiced some dance from around the world. We did some hip hop, Irish, Bollywood, Bhangra, Latin and Chinese. 

Today we learnt all about China and Hong Kong. We learnt to write numbers in Chinese, we practiced using chopsticks and tried some food.
