This week in year 5 we are learning about instructions, focusing today on verbal instructions. We were trying to decide if these were easier to follow than written instructions. We first started by guiding a partner using only verbal instructions around the playground avoiding obstacles. It definitely wasn’t easy! 
Miss Walsh then read some instructions to make a paper windmill. Without pictures and clear instructions we definitely ended up with some funny looking windmills! We decided that pictures and clearly written instructions are the best way to teach someone to make something!
