On Wednesday afternoon, the children chose from a wide range of well-being activities and spent time doing things to help their own mental health. It was lovely walking around school seeing the groups of children interacting with children from other classes and working with staff members they would not usually spend time with. The activities included a local walk, yoga, time in our sensory room, decorating a big wooden gingerbread man (see if you can find him in Lancaster over the Christmas holidays!), colouring, painting, making bracelets, loom bands and doorhangers, outdoor play, circuits, jigsaws, reading and scratch art. As you can see, there was something for everyone.

Thank you to the staff and volunteers (parents and governors) for providing and supporting with the activities. It was an amazing afternoon.

The Nursery and Reception Classes had their own Well-being Activities in their Unit.
