This afternoon we had four medical students from Lancaster University visiting our class. October celebrates Black History Month, so today Year 5 took part in the online assembly that lots of schools across the country also joined. We discussed the theme of ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’.

This week we have been learning all about germs, how to wash our hands, how to brush our teeth and why all of these things are very important.
