Today Year 4 was invaded by the Romans! We had Roman legionaries, centurions, governors and even Emperors! Not only that, but we were honoured to be visited by some Roman gods such as Poseidon.
 

We learnt more about the Celts and their rebellion under Boudicca. She was a very brave and resilient Celtic Queen who encouraged her tribe (the Iceni) and other tribes to fight against the Romans in about 60 AD. She was very successful to start with but was eventually defeated. We acted out her story in class and created a living time line to show the ups and downs of her life. We then looked at a written source describing her and drew our own pictures of what we think she might have looked like.
