Today we got active in our learning. We did a wall quiz where we had to hunt for the answers to some key questions about microbes. We found out the 3 main groups, their typical features and how they can be classified. We discovered various ways in which microbes can be useful or cause us harm and discussed how to minimise or prevent harmful microbes from spreading and making us ill.

We looked at some amazing photographs of microbes magnified under a powerful microscope and then had some fun making our own using Playdough to reinforce what we had found out.
