Two days of dancing!

On Tuesday we had a fantastic session with the Rock Kidz group. We danced along to songs about how good it is to be us. On Wednesday Nicola led our first Diddi dance session. We love moving to music.

Rock Kidz visit

What a day! The children have had an experience I'm not sure they will ever forget! Rock Kidz helped us think about how amazing we all are because we are all different. YASBA - You're Awesome So Be Awesome!

Samba Bamba

We had a lots of fun today using different instruments to create our own Samba Bamba band and we certainly got into the groove dancing to the music.

Year 4 Music

Traditional dances in Lancashire

Today, we have been learning about our local heritage. Mikey and Jenny came in to school to talk to us about different traditional dances in Lancashire. We had a go at dancing the jig, the reel, the horn pipe, the waltz and marching. It was so much fun!

We looked at many different Australian artefacts e.g. boomerangs, different types of Australian animals and the didgeridoo! We listened to the different sounds made.
