Once again, the children who have Rocksteady lessons, shared their musical talents this afternoon. What an amazing rock concert we enjoyed. Well done everyone!

This term, Year 4 have been very busy learning songs for the Lancaster and District Singing Festival. On Thursday, Year 4 enjoyed their rehearsal and performance in the Ashton Hall. They sounded amazing and sang a range of songs from rock to rap. Well done on a fantastic show!

The children who have been having Rocksteady lessons performed their songs in a lively concert today. It was great to see their confidence and their friends supporting them.

This afternoon, Year 6 had their first taste of “Garage Band”, a music composing app which we have on our iPads. We had great fun experimenting with the sounds and rhythm patterns!

Forget Santa’s eleven, in Year 3 we have been busily preparing for Christmas and the holidays! We have been making packaging in DT, cutting out gingerbread biscuits, creating 3-D Christmas shapes from nets, making cards and calendars. We’ve also fitted in a music concert, an online writing…

What a fantastic concert today. Our rock stars performed brilliantly and the audience of children and parents were awestruck by the confidence of the children who have been receiving Rock Steady lessons. Well done everyone!
