Today Debbie from NISCU came to teach us about the Bible using her very own Big Bible!  It was full of things to help us understand why the Bible is so important to Christians.  We thought about lots of different stories and characters in the Bible (well done Henry and Reuben who thought of some very unusual ones!) and then explored the Big Bible.  We learnt that the Bible could be compared to a map (to show people the way to live), a mirror (to show people if they need to change something about themselves), a time travelling machine (telling people about the beginning and end of time!), a box of treasure and lots more things... Debbie amazed us by singing us a song naming all the books in the Bible (66!).  Next week we are going to find out more about the Old Testament.
