Year 6 have arrived safely at Bassenfell Manor, after a beautiful journey through the heart of the Lake District. We began our stay by working in our activity groups to solve a number of challenges involving water balloons. The better we did at our challenges, the more points we earned. We then used those points to “purchase” resources to build a protective casing around a water balloon, before dropping it from the top of the manor. Well done to the Hedgehog group who won this final challenge of the afternoon.
After tea (which we enjoyed in the dining room overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake), we went for a walk around the local area, taking in some of the stunning views of the Lakeland fells.
