Today we were investigating the best place to dry our washing. Each group chose a different type of cloth and decided how much water to put on each one. We had to put the same amount on each one to make sure the test was fair. We weighed the cloths and then chose different locations around the school to hang them. We left them for the afternoon before weighing them again to see how much water had evaporated from each cloth. We found out that both the area by the lockers and outside in the playground were the best places to dry our washing because they were a combination of warm, dry and windy conditions.
