This morning we had a visit from Sarah, a STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) ambassador. We learnt about electricity and were able to do some exciting experiments - including making a human circuit in which we could test out some materials to find out if they were insulators or conductors. We also built circuits in series and parallel and investigated how a resistor can change the brightness of a bulb or the speed of a motor in a circuit.
