The police came to help us learn all about their dangerous job. We got to see all the equipment they use, the uniforms they wear and the van they drive. The children all had a great morning!

We we had a fun and informative visit from two very patient police officers today. The children had a great time and learnt lots about the role of the police.

I got handcuffed too ! ☹️

We even got to try the handcuffs!

We got to drive the van and heard the very loud siren! 

They explained what type of equipment they use to keep themselves and others safe. This is a baton and could be used for breaking a window if someone was trapped. 

The Police came to visit to explain about their job and brought equipment to show us. 

We have become safari explorers these last two weeks. We have been listening to and looking at different dangerous animals. We then painted them and wrote about them. Have a look at us in our explorer outfits.

Reception are working really hard in ICT on their mouse control skills. Here we are having a go at using the mouse to complete jigsaws.

A big thank you to the firemen for their exciting and informative visit this afternoon. We learnt lots of interesting facts about their dangerous job.

This week we tried some Bhangra dance moves.
