We loved meeting Harold the giraffe today! He was telling us all about our wonderful bodies and how to keep healthy. 

We had a wonderful trip concluding our topic, 'The Great Outdoors' and what a super day!

We looked at the physical and human features of Morecambe Bay. Then we continued our seaside theme by eating ice-creams! Next, we explored the playground and cooled off nicely in the splash…

We went to our local play park to look at existing structures. We are going to design our own and make our own playgrounds. 

We made our passports and boarding passes ready to board the flight to Australia. We were lucky as we only had a little turbulence on our flight! We got there in record time and explored the landmarks, animals and objects of Australia.

Well done to the netball team who played in their first ever netball tournament! They represented the school well displaying super team work and supporting each other throughout. Well done ! 

We were using vocab such as long, longer, tall, taller, longest and tallest today to compare lengths and heights of objects. We enjoyed exploring the classroom. 
 

We made different paths whilst counting in different multiples. We were counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We then jumped on the paths at different starting numbers. 

We enjoyed finding all the different phonic sounds around the playground. We read the sound and then had to come up with a word. We thought of lots of words!! 

 

We experienced playing Wheelchair Basketball today. It gave us all an insight into the sport and how difficult it can be. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity. 
 

Today, we enjoyed spotting the features of a plant or tree.  We discussed the stem, leaves, root and flowers. We explored what they looked like on plants in our garden.

We used lots of resources to make some 2 digit numbers. We used the vocab tens and ones and understood the value of numbers. 

We enjoyed performing our sequences using some big apparatus today.
