Great systematic number pattern!

We explored number patterns using multi-link.

We made the most of the sunshine and played our ‘Number Name Bingo’ outside.

We chose a number card and explored using different resources how to make it. We used a ten frame, multi-link and drew our objects.

Today, we found a trail of footprints all round school. We asked lots of questions and even asked Mrs Aylott if she had seen anything that could have made the footprints! We came up with lots of ideas and followed the trail. When we got back into the classroom, look at what we found!!!!!

As part of our topic, we had another parent coming to tell us about how she helps people in the St John’s Ambulance. We enjoyed hearing about what she does and loved looking at the medals she had been awarded, especially from the Queen!

Look how much water we have collected this week! We will be monitoring how much rainfall we get in the coming months and also look at the temperature. 

Thank you to Joanne for coming into our class today. As part of our superhero topic (people who help us), we had one of our parents coming in and showing what she does. She showed us how she would weigh a baby, measure the baby and the resources she needs to check a child’s development.

We have been exploring how we can make numbers to 20 by looking at the tens and ones in a number. 

Coach Steve is coming in this half term to help teach us the fundamentals in cricket. Not only are we working on throwing, hitting and catching, but also to be a good sport and show the ‘ spirit of cricket’.
