Maiden Castle Mystery
This afternoon, Year 3 were trying to solve the Maiden Castle mystery. 52 bodies were found at Maiden Castle which was an Iron Age settlement. The children had to study clues as to how they died - Romans or another tribe. They came up with really good theories based on the evidence.

Sandwich making
Today, we started making our sandwiches. We have tried to create a balanced, healthy sandwich and we have tried to make them look fun and interesting for younger children.
Stone Age outdoor learning
Today was our schools outdoor learning day. We told stories in the same way as Stone Age people might have done using pictures on stones. We then got to make our own.
Bread testing
This afternoon, we were testing different bread options for sandwiches. White bread was the resounding favourite!

Active 60 Festival

We also looked carefully at the 3D shapes and drew around each face. This helped us to see the shapes of the different faces.
