Using our own colour mixes

After mixing our own colours we created our own firework pictures.

Colour Mixing

We learnt all about the primary colours today.  We mixed them together to make orange, green and purple before using all six colours to paint a firework filled sky.

Year 4 have combined their love of Art with this new RE topic. We have looked at how artists represent their faith in their paintings. We have read verses from the Bible which have inspired the artists.

Maiden Castle Mystery

This afternoon, Year 3 were trying to solve the Maiden Castle mystery. 52 bodies were found at Maiden Castle which was an Iron Age settlement. The children had to study clues as to how they died - Romans or another tribe. They came up with really good theories based on the evidence.
