We enjoyed taking part in the Largest Girls’ Football Day. We continue to have opportunity every Wednesday where Morecambe Football Club come and work with the girls to play football. 

We have Miss Helen this half term to help us with our dancing. We are dancing like animals in different habitats.

Today, we have taken part in our Y3/4 Intra sports. We played bench ball and had to work as a team to score points. We used tactics and spatial awareness to outwit our opponents.

We have been learning counter balances in our PE lesson today. Coach Millie has been teaching us how to use a partner to create balances.

Today Coach Scott came into school and we had a fantastic session playing Christmas dodgeball.  We played Christmas Tree Freeze, Catch the Bauble and finally Rudolph Rescue. We all loved it!

We have been practising dribbling a ball in PE today. We worked in teams to bounce on the spot and move with the ball. We will use these skills when we play some invasion games.

In PE, we have been learning some playground games from the past. Today we played Queenie where we had to throw a ball over our head and the others had to catch and hide it behind their backs. We were very good at hiding the ball!

After months of anticipation we’re here at the Year 6 residential at Lockerbie Manor!  We waved goodbye and set off just after lunch and arrived in time for a tour and our first activities. So far today we’ve tried abseiling, initiative challenges, scavenger hunt and zip wire. Not bad for day one!…
