The sun shone on us all day, as we climbed walls, built dens, negotiated the high ropes course and practised our aim in target shooting. We all took part in orienteering, with Mrs Anderson and Miss Huddleston narrowly winning (by one point!).

Year 6 set off for Lockerbie at lunchtime today. They have thrown themselves into the afternoon and evening’s activities with gusto, most of them ending the day covered in mud!

A mixture of Y4s, 5s and 6s had a great day out today at the Lancaster cricket tournament at Westgate and Torrisholme Cricket Club. Although we didn’t win the tournament, we learnt a lot and had a fantastic team spirit. And the sun shone all day long!

Today was a big day for Year 6: the day we discovered the title of this year’s Shakespeare play. The story - The Tempest - was revealed through a morning of story telling and drama.
