Eco group tree planting project
Eco group have been looking at the possibility of planting some trees on our school field. Today we went down to the field with Hilary from Dorrington Woods, who came to help us measure out a suitable area. We drew a plan and calculated how many trees we will need to order.

We enjoyed listening to the Firemen from Lancaster about their job and how they help people. We asked some great questions e.g where do you get the water from ? We learnt lots of new facts.

Lancaster City FC
Thank you to Lancaster City Football Club for the free tickets a few weeks ago. The game had a very exciting ending and the Dolly Blues won 1 - 0. They also brought activity booklets for the children across school.

Eco group help the community clean-up
Our newly formed Eco group for the year went out this afternoon with Mrs Ventress to help our local councillor Abi Mills and a group of volunteers. There task was to clear some of the litter and leaves which have been collecting on the streets around school.
