Today, we were first making 2D shapes and then turning them into 3D ones. 
 

This afternoon, we walked around Scotforth so that we can make maps and write a guide book. 
 

This morning, we were practising adding two two digit numbers with a fun activity outside. We had to add the numbers and then locate the answer around the playground. There was some great maths work going on!

Today, we learned that maps look down at an area from above. We tried to make our own picture of the year 2 classroom using an aerial view. 
 

We enjoyed doing our different yoga poses for Well-being Wednesday. 

We had good fun taking part in our yoga session. We made some great poses with our favourite characters. 

This afternoon, we were drawing a picture of Ludgate for our 3D Great Fire of London art piece. We used rulers to make our lines straight and accurate. Everyone did a really good job!

It’s not even the end of the first week and we’ve already taken part in two exciting things! On Wednesday, Harold the giraffe from the Life Education Van visited to teach us about the inside of our bodies and our feelings. On Thursday, Rock kidz came back to school and we were all rocking and…

Scotforth Pizza was open for business this afternoon! We designed and created fun, healthy pizzas. 
 

This morning, we had the chance to play wheelchair basketball. It was great fun!

We had an amazing morning on our sports day.

We had a wonderful time on our school trip today. We saw some amazing animals and imagined what it would be like to travel on a steam train in the past.
