The Human Digestive System in action
This morning in Year 5 we have recreated the journey of our breakfast through the digestive system. It was messy but fun for most of us. A few of us were a little squeamish and by the time we reached the end we couldn’t even look.
Year 4 Art
Year 4 have moved on with their Gaudi topic. The children have made animal collages using his Trencadis technique.
We’ve also been working hard on our exhibit for the Art exhibition but that’s a secret for now!
Comparing Lengths
We were using vocab such as long, longer, tall, taller, longest and tallest today to compare lengths and heights of objects. We enjoyed exploring the classroom.
Counting Stepping Stones -Outside Fun
We made different paths whilst counting in different multiples. We were counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. We then jumped on the paths at different starting numbers.
Phonics Hunt
We enjoyed finding all the different phonic sounds around the playground. We read the sound and then had to come up with a word. We thought of lots of words!!
Finding patterns in nature
Today in Year 5 we took advantage of the lovely weather to take our sketchbooks outside and look for patterns in nature. Using sketching pencils we drew detailed pictures of leaves, flowers, trees and stones.
