We had so much fun on our trip to Billy Bob’s. We went in a coach journey, we looked at all the different types of transport. We also helped our friends and took turns on the different equipment. 

The rain held off long enough for the nursery children to explore all of the transport themed frames in the play area. We have worked hard to take turns and wait patiently.

This week we have been investigating toys that need a push or a pull. Today we made aeroplanes. The children all decided to use very large paper. Unfortunately the wind blew all of our aeroplanes behind us!

The children sorted the living things from different habitats using a branching key. By working together and thinking of the right questions, they successfully completed the challenge.

We enjoyed making flowers out of clay. We manipulated the clay into different shapes, then chose our colours wisely. 

We had fun getting into time order. Some of us had am times and others pm. We found it wasn’t as easy as we first thought.

Our Y6 cricket team had a great day out in the Lancaster School Cricket Tournament today.  We played with fantastic enthusiasm, team work and effort.  In our group stage we won 3 of the 4 games and then played in the semi final against Moorside.  The semi was very tight and we narrowly lost. …
