Year 1 Dance
Coach Louise is teaching us dance this half term and we are looking at different styles of dance. We were looking at salsa style of dance this week.
Investigating circulation
Today, we were learning about our circulatory system - how the blood moves around our bodies, providing our muscles with oxygen from our lungs. As part of our learning, we looked at some lambs' hearts to investigate how the vessels are linked inside.

Playleaders training
Year 5 have had the first day of their Playleaders training today. They have been learning how to lead activities with the infants at playtime. They have devised games which they have then learnt to explain to other children and supervise. Their training continues next Wednesday.

Teddy bear hospital
We took our poorly bears to visit the real doctors that came to see us. We drew our bear and told the doctor what was wrong with them. We then looked at all the doctors' tools and helped make them better.

Y1-A Fruit Smoothie
We enjoyed following a recipe to make a strawberry and banana smoothie for Mrs Aylott. We followed the instructions carefully spotting the features of all the instructions. The following day we designed and wrote our own smoothie recipes using all the features we had seen.
