
Crown Green Bowling with Year 4
We have had lots of fun learning to play crown green bowls with Coach Dan. At the start of the afternoon we struggled to roll the bowls onto the target but by the end we had improved so much. We played lots of mini tournaments that focused on our technique and distance.

Nature Observation in Year 3
In science today we made careful observational drawings of plants, flowers and trees. We also took close up photographs. We were amazed at how much there was to see in our school gardens. We also realised how much we often don’t notice because we don’t look very closely!

Angles all around us
We have been learning all about angles so today we went outside to look for and take photos of angles in our outdoor area. We then tried to make different angles using our bodies. Finally, we made pictures with sticks and twigs and labelled each acute, obtuse and right angle.
