What a busy first week back. Steve came in with Harold the giraffe to talk about looking after our bodies.

The sun shone on us all day, as we climbed walls, built dens, negotiated the high ropes course and practised our aim in target shooting. We all took part in orienteering, with Mrs Anderson and Miss Huddleston narrowly winning (by one point!).

We had lots of fun exploring and seeing what we could find. We found lots of different coloured leaves, conkers, sticks and some large spiders making webs. 

Harold taught us all about our bodies and how to keep them happy and healthy. 

Year 6 set off for Lockerbie at lunchtime today. They have thrown themselves into the afternoon and evening’s activities with gusto, most of them ending the day covered in mud!

Rock Kidz visited school today and we had lots of fun singing and dancing. We sang a new song to reinforce the important message of being kind. 

We had a visit from Steve and Harold today. They told us about healthy eating, friendships and keeping healthy.
