After mixing our own colours we created our own firework pictures.

We learnt all about the primary colours today.  We mixed them together to make orange, green and purple before using all six colours to paint a firework filled sky.

Today, we began learning about the artist Eva Rothschild and her sculpture work. We used art straws to make our own sculptures in a similar style.

Year 4 have combined their love of Art with this new RE topic. We have looked at how artists represent their faith in their paintings. We have read verses from the Bible which have inspired the artists.

This week, we started our RE unit: God and His Creation by exploring our imagination and creativity through artistic challenges, and then reflected upon the experience of being creative!
